Reed Stoops is a 50 year Juneau resident, a legislative lobbyist representing Alaska businesses and nonprofits, and has undertaken several local land and building development projects. He previously served on numerous nonprofit boards, including the Alaska Community Foundation, the Dimond Park Field House, the SE Alaska Land Trust, Juneau Soccer Club, and Hospice. Reed is one of the initial three residents who incorporated the Juneau Community Foundation in 1990 and was its first President. Hobbies include hunting, fishing, triathlons, and wildlife photography. He is married to Betsy Brenneman and has one son, Daniel.
