Christy Ciambor joined the Juneau Community Foundation as Program Director in March 2022.
Originally from New York, she spent twelve years working in the travel and hospitality field including a stint with American Express Travel & Financial Related services, working in both their Baltimore and Washington D.C. offices.
Christy came to Juneau in 2005 to work seasonally for Alaskan Brewing Co. and returned for good in 2007. Over the last fifteen years, Christy’s focus has been on community outreach, engagement, and fundraising while supporting organizations like KTOO Public Media, Juneau Jazz and Classics, and Coast Alaska. Christy has satisfied her passion for travel and hospitality by hosting events and coordinating personal travel through her own business, Simpatico Services.
Christy’s family unit consists of her husband, Scott and their two boys, Kai and Luca, who enjoy beach bonfires and getting out on Juneau’s many trails with their dog, Coco.
