To date, we’ve raised over $210,000. Back in November, we launched a campaign to raise $100,000 for the Foundation’s Feeding Juneau Kids Fund with a challenge match provided by The George & Stephanie Suddock Foundation. The Feeding Juneau Kids Fund helps sustain vital programs that support 750 children in Juneau who face food insecurity. As of today, we’ve raised over $210,000!
On December 21, 2024, 700 Winter Break Food Bags were distributed. The Juneau School District, in partnership with Coast Guard Sector Juneau, District 17, SuperBear IGA, and student volunteers from the National Honor Society, gathered at the Super Bear IGA warehouse to assemble food bags. The Coast Guard then distributed them to families.
YOU made this happen! Thank you for your support of Feeding Juneau Kids. Because of you, families in the district will have food over school breaks, counselors can provide snacks for students during the day, and weekend and summer food programs will continue.
