Arctic Winter Games: Support Team Alaska Juneau Athletes

Team Alaska strengthens Southeast communities by providing Juneau youth with the opportunity to participate in the ARCTIC WINTER GAMES, the most prolific sporting and cultural event in the circumpolar world.

In March of 2018 an estimated 50 athletes from the Southeast will travel, as members of Team Alaska, to the Northwest Territories of Canada to participate in the Arctic Winter Games. To date, hundreds of Juneau youth have participated in the Games. They’ve gained an unparalleled education in sportsmanship, international exchange, confidence, and Alaskan culture.

The majority of Team Alaska’s funding comes from passionate individual donors, generous businesses and community partners. A donation to Team Alaska guarantees that youth from Juneau and surrounding communities can continue to participate in the Arctic Winter Games.
